The Plays I’ve Written
Here is a selection of plays that I have written. They are done; at least, to the extent that any play or piece of writing can ever truly be “done.” These plays have been produced, been staged; they’ve been through the process and come out the other side, as fully done as one can imagine a play being.
It’s unlikely that I’d take up the pen again for these plays, but in the right context, maybe they’d like to be staged again? I’m early in my career, so maybe they’re more like an introduction to me, and what will really excite you are The Plays I’m Writing.
A story of the little things; Of seven friends and one right jerk Who party 'round the clock and sing, Who never have to go to work. In mostly metered verse (some prose) This story doth quickly unfold. As sweet as is the smell of rose, A comedy that's fun and bold!
America wants out from the United Nations. A waffling diplomat tries to make nice about it, but in the end, America is held to account by The Whole Entire Rest of the G*****n M***********g World. Individual (10 minute play) was produced by the New Short Play Festival in 2019
Someone important is coming to visit. Laurie is very picky about how the house looks, but Joseph is just trying to relax and be at ease. Excitement and sweetness abound in this short story about two people who show their love in very different ways from one another. The Calm was produced in 2019 by the New Short Play Festival
